A walkable Advent calendar with products and innovations from the area
They are witnesses of long journeys around the world and the goods they brought to us from all continents in a globalized economy. Now they stopped at Karl-Heine-Straße: Four overseas container which will stand at the Boulevard in December. But they only contain regional products. Locally produced glasses, biological lemonade, parts of a huge crane made in Plagwitz, ecological clothing or the newly invented bike from Lindenau: craftspeople, artists, startups and traditional industry from Leipzig’s West show their skills, their ideas and products.
The creative street market from „Bohei & Tamtam“ gets a winter base in from of an exhibition. A mapping of the old and new production location Plagwitz-Lindenau is created and showed as collection in the local container port. It is located directly opposite of the long-established Casablanca Market.
